Welcome to Young Authors and Artists Group, also known as the YAAGroup. Our goal is to help young people (8-18) learn about the writing and illustration process. By becoming a member you’ll have access to “How to” writing and illustrating materials, be able to ask questions of our publishing experts, and point you toward places where you can submit your work for publication.
Our website is http://www.yaagroup.org
I’m Head of Publications in the Writing & Publishing Program at Walnut Hill School for the Arts, and I write to urge all young writers to check out The Blue Pencil Online, at http://www.thebluepencil.net. The editors seek to publish the best literary work by young writers (12-18 years) around the world. Please post!
Thanks very much.

Hi, YAA! Good job with the website. This Saturday I am trying to launch what will be a weekly online critique through my blog at http://www.writerlaurenclaire.wordpress.com. I will anonymously post one-three pages of writing from a young writer each week. All other writers who are participating that week will then follow guidelines to critique it. I hope you can see how beneficial this would be to writers of all ages. If you wouldn’t mind, please help spread the word to your readers. You can contact me at l.claire827@gmail.com if you have any questions.
